The hotel is centrally located in Vienna's 8th district (Josefstadt) at the public transport stations Rathaus (Underground, Trams) close to Ringstraße and the historic city centre (1st district).

The hotel lies in immediate proximity to the famous sites of Vienna's Ringstraße and the lively inner city districts, which can conveniently explored by foot.

ARRIVE BY CAR:

From West - A1
Take the A1-Highway (Westautobahn) until you arrive in Vienna-City. Drive along the "Schoenbrunner Schlossstrasse" further to "Schoenbrunner Strasse" until you reach the intersection with "Guertel". Turn left into "Guertel" (direction North - Praha, Brno) drive along "Lerchenfelder Guertel" and turn right into "Josefstaedterstrasse". After the "Theater in der Joseftstadt" turn the second street left into "Buchfeldgasse", where Hotel Graf Stadion awaits you.

From East - A4
Take the A4-Highway to "Schuettelstrasse" further to "Untere Donaustrasse". Turn left into the "Aspernbruecke" into the "Ring" the Boulevard of Vienna. Follow this street and pass many sights of Vienna, like the opera, Hofburg until you reach the Parlament on the left hand side. After the Parlament you turn left into "Stadiongasse" - you are not far away anymore! After 2nd traffic-light "Stadiongasse" becomes "Josefstaedterstrasse". Then second street to the right is the "Buchfeldgasse", where we are located, house number 5.

From South - A2
Take the A2-Highway (Suedautobahn) to exit "Triester Strasse". Follow this street to the "Matzleinsdorfer Platz". Here you turn left into the "Guertel", direction North. Follow the "Guertel" until "Lerchenfelder Guertel" where you turn right into the "Josefstaedterstrasse". After the "Theater in der Josefstadt" you turn the second street left, which is the "Buchfeldgasse", where the Hotel Graf Stadion is at your service!

NEAREST PUBLIC TRANSPORT-STATIONS:

Subway line "U2" - station "Rathaus" exit "Josefstaedterstrasse", walk over "Landesgerichtsstrasse" further to "Josefstaedterstrasse", then turn right at the second street "Buchfeldgasse".

USubway line "U6" - station "Josefstaedterstrasse", here you change to tram "2" - direction "Friedrich-Engels-Platz" until station "Rathaus".

Bus "13 A" - station "Lederergasse/Strozzigasse". Walk on the "Josefstaedterstrasse" and turn left at the second street "Buchfeldgasse".

From Vienna Airport to Hotel Graf Stadion:

1) Public - Express Train "S"
From the airport take the express train number 7 ("S7"). With this train go until station "Praterstern", there change to "U2" in direction "Karlsplatz" and go until the station "Rathaus". From there it is only two minutes to walk.

Price: € 4.00 for a two zones ticket for the public transport with changing.

2) Shuttle Bus - Vienna Airport Lines
From the airport take the Shuttle Bus - Vienna Airport Lines which runs every half hour. With this shuttle go until the station "Westbahnhof" there change to "U3" in direction "Simmering" and go until the station "Volkstheater". There change the last time to "U2" in direction "Aspernstrasse" and go until the station "Rathaus". From there it is only two minutes walk.

Price: € 7,- per person for the shuttle incl. 3 baggages plus € 2.00 for one ticket for the public transport with changing.

3) CAT - City Airport Train
From the airport take the CAT. With this CAT go until the station "Wien Mitte" there change to "U3" in direction "Ottakring" and go until the station called "Volkstheater". There change the last time to "U2" in direction "Aspernstrasse" and go until the station called "Rathaus". From there it is only two minutes walk.

PARKING AT THE HOTEL IN THE 8th DISTRICT:

A) in our hotel's garage for EUR 15,- per night from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival until 11 a.m. on the day of departure, a reservation is neccessary.

B) on the street in the entire 8th district (prereservation not possible!) :
On weekdays you need a special day-parking-ticket (available ONLY at the reception for € 7,00 per day), which allows you to park in our district despite the short-stay parking zone from Mo - Fr, 09:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Out of these hours you don't need any ticket at all.

This ticket is valid only together with a magisterial parking card, which you also will receive at the reception. We require a deposit of € 20,- for this card. In case of loss, this ammount will be charged to you. After you return us the parking card, you receive the deposit back. From Friday 10 pm until Monday 9 am, as well as on public holidays, parking on the street is free of charge, as long as you found a parking space in an admitted area.

C) in public garages like the "Astoria-Garage" in the Trautsongasse, or the "Rathaus-Garage" behind the Rathaus, both about 3-5 minutes walking distance from the hotel.
The hotel is not responsible for the parking fees.
